Mainly because I am between living spaces and have nothing better to do other than bother my cat and read a book about schizophrenia because I didn't have the money to buy When Rabbit Howls at Barnes and Noble, boo for that. So...

1. In June, I went to Argentina with my orchestra. Argentina is my new favorite country and is pretty much amazing. They have the best coffee, the best looking guys, and everyone is so NICE. And after getting standing ovationed by a full house of people who don't speak English, I can't imagine going back to playing in Philly for no one. It was, orchestra and music wise, the greatest experience I've ever had. Argentina *rules*.
2. I made the obligatory cross-country road trip that everyone says you should do once in your life. M13 and myself traveled from New Jersey to Washington to go to Mysterium. It was incredibly fascinating, seeing the country like that. You learn so much just by watching the scenery go by and getting stuck in North Dakota (arghhh) and almost time traveling in Montana (that freaked me out) and thinking of how boring Indiana was. It's brilliant. Everyone really does need to do it because it's so adventurous! I totally want to be a wandering nomad.
3. Mysterium was AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING. Despite the fluru (which I somehow didn't get, wtf? A germ looks at me funny and I get sick. I live most of my life getting sick with everything and its mom. But I didn't get fluru. wtf?) We went to Cyan and I met Rand Miller and he answered by psychobabble (anyone who says "oh no Atrus wasn't a neglectful parent, that's just exaggeration"? I was right all along! He IS neglectful! Rand Miller told me so! ) and it might just have been one of the best things ever.
4. I has apartment! I am officially living in my first apartment, and I like it, and once I get used to it (and know that my roommates get along!) I will like it better.
...and even better, they allow pets so I can have a CAT
(and I went to the shelter and have a rough idea of the cat I want, so fingers crossed she's still there when I am able to adopt her)

The person downstairs has wireless internet and I don't have mine set up, so I'm stealing theirs. Lutra the internet ninja! Mwa ha ha!
